FAQ – Sizing, Shipping & Returns

Straight answers to the questions we get most often about our GemChve steel toe safety shoes. If your question isn't covered here, write to us via the contact page — a real person answers.

What sizes do GemChve safety shoes come in?

Our steel toe safety shoes are available in EU sizes 36–46, in black, blue and grey, for both men and women. Most customers find they fit true to size. If you are between sizes, or you wear thick work socks, we recommend choosing the next EU size up. A size chart with centimetre measurements is included in the product photos on the product page.

Are these certified S1/S3 (EN ISO 20345) safety shoes?

We want to be straightforward about this: the shoes are built with a steel toe cap and a puncture-resistant midsole, but we do not claim an EN ISO 20345 certification class such as S1 or S3. If your employer or work site requires certified footwear of a specific class, please check that requirement before ordering. For warehouse work, workshops, logistics, gardening and DIY, the combination of toe protection, puncture resistance and trainer-like weight is exactly why customers choose them.

What is the quick-dial closure?

Instead of laces, the shoes close with a rotating dial: one twist tightens the fit evenly across the foot, and a pull releases it. You can adjust it in seconds, even wearing work gloves, and there are no loose laces to catch on machinery or ladders.

Where do you ship, and what does shipping cost?

We ship from within the EU to most of Europe and to selected countries worldwide. Standard rates: €6.99 to Germany, France, Italy and Spain; €7.99 to Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Poland; €4.59 within Estonia; €11 to most other destinations, including the United Kingdom and the United States. Orders over €69 ship free — two pairs already qualify. The exact rate for your address is always shown at checkout before you pay.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery times vary by country and carrier, so we prefer not to promise a fixed number of days. You receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships, and you can follow the parcel door to door.

What about customs or import fees?

For deliveries within the EU there are normally no additional import charges. For destinations outside the EU, any customs duties or import fees are set by your local authorities and are the buyer's responsibility — we cannot predict them. What you pay us is always exactly what the checkout page shows.

What is your returns policy?

You have 14 days from delivery to return your order. If the size isn't right or you change your mind, contact us within 14 days and we'll guide you through the return. Shoes should be unworn outdoors (trying them on indoors is fine) and returned in their original packaging.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes, three — and they combine: the code WELCOME10 gives 10% off your first order; when you buy two pairs of safety shoes, the second pair is automatically 15% off (useful when ordering together with a workmate); and orders over €69 ship free. The second-pair discount and free shipping apply automatically at checkout, no code needed.

How do I clean and care for the shoes?

Brush off dry dirt, wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, and let them air-dry away from direct heat — radiators and dryers can deform the materials. Remove the insoles to dry separately after wet days. We don't recommend machine washing; the protective elements and the mesh upper last longer with hand cleaning.

Can I replace the insoles?

Yes, the insoles are removable. Many customers on long shifts pair the shoes with our GemChve orthopedic insoles for extra arch support.

How can I pay?

Orders go through Shopify's secure checkout. PayPal is available, along with the card payment options shown at checkout for your country.
